When I try to project my widescreen laptop through the overhead projector in your classroom spaces, my full screen isn't showing.

The left side of my projected presentation is being cut off on the overhead screen. Is there a workaround for this?

Answer

We had this question ourselves! To illustrate:

We reached out to the team at the Help Desk to ask if there was an easy setting that could be changed as a work-around so that presenters didn't have to drag the program they are trying to show students to another part of the screen. Aaron responded as follows:

Unfortunately there is not an option for that. What is happening is your computer is working at a higher resolution than the projector can handle. I am assuming the picture is from the lower level children's lit area. You will have to adjust your resolution to best work on both screens or you can do extended screen and leave your screen at its resolution but you will have to drag windows back and forth. If you are using PPT, extended can still work pretty well though.
